Hello Everyone...

So it has been almost a year I started this blog. Somehow it doesn't feel like yesterday. It feels like a lot has happened. It feels like that was some other world, last year. The best part was knowing so many new people, discovering new things, being in a different world and yes maintaining an online journal sort of thing.

People change. And so have I. There were days when I remembered everyone’s birthdays, never cared if they ever remember mine. And now I have this big trouble remembering birthdays. So it is no surprise that I missed Jenny’s bicycle’s birthday recently.

Coming back to change, I want a lot more things to change. I want to be more regular with the posts. I want the posts to be better. I want not to miss giving a shout to all those lovely ladies, and some gentlemen who inspire me, correct me and tell me that I have a blog they like reading. A particular gentleman hates it a bit too much when there is nothing new here on a Friday.

So here is a big thank you to everyone. To Neha for being the biggest influence here. To JapnaMili, Priyanka, Ashwini, TanujaNicoleta, Katerina, Gloria, AditiNicoleta, Tarraco…(I think I can go on and on) for inspiring me every now and then and for being there right from day one. And thank you Juree and Achala for taking pictures and doing you know what :)

And All The Festivities

However dark and twisty that might sound, I have always been a lost soul during the festive season. All my life. It has only been recently that I look at these bright lights and all the happy faces and it just looks perfect. And the amazing temperature just adds more beauty to the festivals.

Diwali, the festival of lights, the festival of goddess Laxmi and the festival of India is as beautiful as it sounds. It is the day Rama, Sita and Laxman returned to Ayodhya after killing Ravana. And the whole kingdom was decorated with lights.

Hope you are making the most of this festive season. So, what did you do on your Diwali?

The Animal Instinct

And I went ahead
With the instinct of an animal
And with the doubt of a girl
With a hope to find you
In the woods of my thoughts...

Never in my life did I think I would wear an animal print. Somehow I could never understand them. Saw them everywhere - on the ramp, in the movies, on the streets. But it never caught my fancy. Until now. I am trying to experiment just a bit here. Made the top myself. Hope you like the post.

It was a good evening. We discovered a cool accessory shop. We also went to a small bakery shop called 'Fresh Cake' at the DT Mega mall basement. Juree had a great chicken puff(sharing the picture here) and got a cheesecake packed which was awesome.

Divine in Blue

Divya, New Delhi
In a recent post, I was talking about the colour blue. And how it reminded me of certain things.  Not much after my new found love for the colour, I found someone who looked divine in blue. Here is Divya, sporting blue in a really fashionable way. Check out her bag and of course her hair...Lovely hair.

From now on, I have resolved to travel a bit and click more people. I just wish I was less lazy and could click more pictures because I have seen people assuming that women do not dress up in India. Well, there might be a grain of truth in this, but it is not a correct information in its entirety. Well, what do you think? Do let me know in the comment section.

A Drive To Remember

Life in a metro comes with its own set of cons.  And on an odd weekend, anything from visiting a friend you love to going for a simple drive can change things.

Am posting a simple post. Nothing much to say. Except that I went on a drive to remember! Also, except that there is nothing like your favourite pair of jeans! I think thats a must in every girl's wardrobe.

Tangerine Dreams

Last time I dreamt about orange
I saw a girl with tangerine hair

Aunt Robin growing oranges
And those wild flowers so rare

I saw the sun's brief moment
All the romances in his share

These Are Not Just Shoes

I love my red converse. So much that they are a part of me now. And it feels like an unconditional love from both sides. They get punched, kicked (and they kick back!), they get a lot more dirty than my other shoes and they still love me back.
Like many other girls on this planet, I too can dare to wear my red converse with the prettiest dresses. They always complement. Though I haven’t been very experimental here, but I will post some adventurous pictures later.

When I think of travelling the world, this pair is the first thing I will pack. I am sure you all have your beautiful memories with your converse. For me its my childhood, teenage and youth all in a shoebox. Tell me how you feel about your converse shoes.
