So far, I have not really written much except for some poems that can be rightfully edited and some blogposts that uncomfortably co-exist with images.
I have an inflated sense of everything. I can never be satisfied with what I do. So every time I think of writing, I end up deciding to read more first. It seemed like a great idea at first. Soon, I realized I am not doing myself any good as it has been years now.
This year, i went to Jaipur Literature festival and what really intrigued me the most was that even boys and girls, as young as 16 were talking about finding a publisher for some list of poems they had written. High time!
This time I am posting two images that relate to what i have written. Better than before I guess.
You guys have a great weekend! Do like my Facebook page.

I told you I am in love with your blog in the previous comment, didn't I? Haha, here I am again. You had me at the second para - 'I have an inflated sense of everything. I can never be satisfied with what I do. So every time I think of writing, I end up deciding to read more first."
ReplyDeleteThis is me. I can relate to those lines so much! Write more, like I did. Push yourself and believe - that's what I did. It's the golden time for publishing in India and you should definitely go for it. Get a collection of poems out, with your pictures. Or a coffee table book of your pictures along with a poem for each. Ideas are plenty! Just do it!

I have wanted to write too since forever. Always kept waiting for the right time. I encourage you to do it. Keep faith and just start somewhere.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, your pictures always make me miss Delhi! :(
